Yeah so maybe there isn’t a super fancy name for this recipe, but the other night I was craving pizza. I can’t have a lot of carbs right now, and had no interest in attempting a cauliflower pizza dough.
So I cut a head of cauliflower into steaks, and topped it like a pizza. After a little time spent in the broiler, these pizza cauliflower steaks came out amazing.
I topped mine with some pepperoni and mushroom, but would imagine these would go good with anything. Now that I think about it, my second go at this recipe may be of the buffalo chicken variety!

- 1 head cauliflower
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese shredded
- 4 oz pepperoni slices
- 2 oz mushrooms thinly sliced
Set broiler to low (or preheat over to 450). Cut cauliflower into 1 1/2 inch steaks
place cauliflower steaks on baking sheet Top each steak with sauce, cheese pepperoni, and mushroom. Cook for about 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Let cool for about 2-3 minutes an serve. Enjoy!
