Honey Garlic Salmon is the PERFECT combination when baking in the oven. It’s buttery, savory and with a hint of sweetness that will please the whole family
I’m putting this together as a sheet pan recipe with some parmesen baby red potatoes, and roasted broccoli. AND IT COMES TOGETHER IN 30 MINUTES!!!
The other day my son came home from his grandmothers and was ranting and raving about the salmon he ate.
My son. The picky eater. Salmon.
So of course I had to figure out what this recipe was!
Still not clear on what exactly it was he ate, but he told me it was “juicy and lots of lemon!”
So after some research I figure I’d put together a honey garlic butter sauce to baste over some salmon, along with some lemon juice to see if that did the trick.
I heated up some ghee, lemon juice, minced garlic and honey in a pan, letting it melt together while I assembled some potatoes and broccoli on a sheet pan.
After the oven was preheated to 425 F, I took the salmon out of the fridge and gave it a generous portion of this sauce I put together.
The baby reds are tossed in a little olive oil, salt pepper, parsley and topped with fresh parmesan.
The broccoli was tossed in a little melted butter salt and pepper.
I’d imagine you could use this sauce over everything, but I wanted to let the salmon take the main stage for this sheet pan recipe.
This Honey garlic salmon is loaded with flavor, moist tender, and done in about 30 minutes. And as a person who isn’t the biggest fan of salmon myself? I can get used to a recipe like this!
I’m still in shock that he loved this recipe. He of course needed a whole lemon on the side to drench his salmon in but as my wife says “Pick your battles!”
