I love making apple galettes but can’t give up that wonderful smoky flavor of the summer. This grilled apple galette is a wonderful blend of fall and summer flavors all in one!

Just because fall is here, doesn’t mean I’m slowing down on grilling.

While I’ll be using my fair share of the oven, I still love to sneak outside when the sun peaks out to get something on the grill.

I’m getting back to basics with my grilling too, with going all charcoal using Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes. They’re ready to cook in about 15 minutes.

I’ve picked up a two pack of 18.6 bags at Home Depot on a killer deal on my way home from work, racing home to beat the sunlight (darn you Daylight Savings Time!!!)

To get charcoal going easily, I always use a chimney with some lighter cubes, on the rare occasion I find
an electric charcoal starter comes in clutch as well!

By the time the charcoal is ready to pour out, my galette is all prepped and ready to go!

Kingsford Original briquettes are makes with 100% natural north American ingredients and real wood, giving a wonderful smoky flavor to all your food. Perfect for this fall dessert I’m putting together!

’m using an indirect grilling method to make sure I don’t burn the bottom of this galette, My Weber Master touch comes with pans for me to pour my Kingsford Original Charcoal briquettes separated my charcoal neatly into each side of the grill.

With Dinner cooking inside, dessert grilling outside, this is the perfect way to celebrate fall!!
