Weekend projects are what I live for. Since moving into our new home, I’ve dubbed Sundays “Project Day”

And with craziness of the holidays is behind us, I thought it was time for my next Project Day to include little kitchen refresh.

Our oven was on its last leg and since we have a slide in range this is nothing I can’t get switched out on my own over the weekend.

Home Depot sent out a Samsung 5.8 cu. Ft. Slide-In Induction Range with Virtual Flame Technology in Stainless Steel along with a GE Profile microwave to help my little weekend project get kicked off.

Installation was a breeze. With a furniture hand trunk in stow, I just wheeled it into the kitchen, slid out the old stove, and slid the new one it. Within 30 minutes I had a new slide in range and microwave ready to put to work.

And with a nice shiny new GE Profile Microwave to help the aesthetic, the kitchen is instantly refreshed and I’m ready to get to cooking plenty of meal prepping for the new year. Range to cook, microwave to re-heat. I’m set!

As far as oven ranges go, I’ve never cooked on anything this high-end before and was stoked to check out some of the features of the Samsung Induction Range.

So, what I thought was a nice little add to the induction cook top was the virtual flame flat light up to not only let you know which range is on, but changes how bright the flame is, depending on how high the heat is set on that range.

I’m also pumped to try out the dehydration mode. My dream of making jerky is finally coming to a reality!

The Samsung Oven Range has changed how I’m cooking food in the oven as well. This oven holds temperature so consistently and it is making a noticeable difference in the final product.

Finishing off a roast in the oven gives me a crispier outside and its still moist and juicy on the inside. Totally taking my dinners to the next level!

Having Wi-Fi enabled cook top also lets me to keep an eye on the cook top. You get piece of mind from knowing if you’ve left the oven on.

You can also change temperatures or start the oven without needing to get off the couch. Totally taking advantage of this feature!

And the GE Profile Microwave is already becoming a major help in the kitchen. With a healthy food option, to with menu codes to cook your veggies in the microwave, is like having an extra hand in the kitchen!

My son also believes that we can cook our Thanksgiving turkey in the new microwave too. I may have to show him how it cooks in the new oven to get him on the right path!

Be sure to check out all the induction ranges and microwaves Home Depot has to offer to get started on your next weekend project!
