It’s every parents favorite time of the year.. Back To School time! This summer was our first summer vacation and it has definitely been just as busy, if not more busy, than the school year. So I’m getting my son just as excited some awesome kid-friendly sandwich sliders.

5 Kid Friendly Sandwich Sliders that are super easy, fun and delicious. Warning: you may eat these sandwich sliders before your children do!These sandwich sliders are super easy and fun to make. Not to mention perfect for little hands to hold and devour. And with the help of PackIt freezable bags, their built-in freezable gel keeps the food cool four hours.

I can send him off to school and know his little sammies and snacks are going to be nice cool and fresh for him to enjoy during lunch and snack time!

1. PB&B&J Sandwich Slider

This is one is going to make the whole family smile – Peanut Butter and Banana and Jelly Sandwich slider. I used crunchy peanut butter (Our families PB of choice) a little Grape Jelly and banana slices. Kids will eat this one up!

2. The Salami Roll Slider

This is slider has been made with my son in mind. He is on a salami kick right now. No joke – he ate a pound worth of salami in 5 days!

This slider has salami, provolone cheese, lettuce, with a little mayo on top.

3. Hazelnut Chocolate Strawberry Slider

This one is SO EASY and delicious. A little hazelnut chocolate with freshly sliced strawberries on top. Full of delicious and energy for the afternoon.

This is my wife’s favorite. Ok mine too. Ok it’s Brayden’s favorite too.

4. The Cold Pizza Slider

This could be a post on its own, but this is a great idea for those “leftover pizza” lovers in your house.

Make pizza on rolls the night before and have some extra made specifically for the next day. Served cold just like my favorite breakfast – cold pizza!

5. The B.L.T. Slider

This one is a classic in mini sandwich slider form. I used pre-cooked bacon, microwaved to get it crispy, then set on the slider with lettuce and fresh sliced tomato.

Add a little mayo or even avocado and you’ve got a hit!

What I love about these sliders (besides the fact of how quick it is to put them together), is they’re small enough that you can send them off with 2 sliders. This gives the option to mix and match the sandwiches. I’m packing a BLT and the hazelnut strawberry slider off with Brayden on his first day.

I’m also a huge fan of the PackIt Bento Box Set, since it comes with a container. I don’t need to tear apart my kitchen trying to mix and match containers and lids! I’m already set with the Bento Box Set.

PackIt Freezable Bags go straight in the freezer over night activating its built-in freezable get. By morning, I have a completely frozen and ready to chill bag – just like a fridge!

I can add some fresh carrots and his favorite dipping sauce (ranch. always ranch). Everything is nice, cool and fresh! Nothing is worse (especially for a picky kid) than room temperature food that should be cool.

I still remember lunchtime as a kid getting my lunch out and eating a sandwich with lunch meat that should be cool and its room temp.. blech!!
